Jul-3-2005	On May 30th, 2005, a narrative plaque honoring the contributions and sacrifices of the crew of the USS Rich was erected and dedicated at the National D-Day Memorial, in Bedford, Virginia. Read about the plaque here.

16-Jun-2001	June 5th through June 8th, 2001 marked the USS Rich Survivors Association Reunion in Branson, Missouri. Details and photos from the reunion will follow shortly.
6-Jun-2001	On June 6th, 2001, "NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw" aired a story about sea graves and the protection of sites such as where the USS Rich sank at Normandy. Murray Comer (brother of CM 2/c Hubert Comer) and other members of his family were interviewed for the news segment.

10-Feb-2001	Murray Comer of Madison, Florida sent a photograph of his brother, CM 2/c Hubert F. Comer. Hubert is one of five USS Rich crewmembers listed on the Wall of Missing memorial at Normandy.

7-Jan-2001	Bob Warne has identified his brother, WT 3/c John F. Warne, in the second Liberty in Londonderry photograph. John Warne was killed in action on June 8th, 1944.
