Well, we think we found it so how about joining us at the USS Rich
Survivors Reunion in Branson, Missouri, June 5-9, 2001.
Enjoy the warm Ozarks hospitality and family-friendly environment
of the area. A superabundance
of activities exists, a wide variety of entertainment and shows,
attractions all around, beautiful scenery, golf courses, good restaurants
and shopping... Oh yes, must not forget that. You'll find shops with
crafts of local residents such as quilts, pottery, hand woven baskets,
beautiful intricate glassware, wrought iron and more!
There are also art galleries, specialty shops of every style and
description, unique gift selections which can be found at shopping plazas,
malls, and stand-alone shops. Even
an old fashioned 5 & 10 (Dick's 5 & 10) in Old Branson.
Our trip, "A Slice of the Ozarks" will tell you and show
you some of the history of this area, the Shepherd of the Hills, Old
Branson and more. Come and
see why BRANSON is considered the live entertainment capital of the
world....BRANSON IS ENTERTAINMENT!!!
Here you will find all the information needed for an enjoyable visit and
trip. Please read carefully,
make necessary telephone calls and/or return forms as directed, especially
making sure to do so before the deadline date of May 6, 2001.
Lodging and
Reservations
Arrival Date: Tuesday,
June 5, 2001
Departure Date: Saturday, June 9, 2001
Check-In begins at 3:00 p.m. Check-Out by 11:00 a.m.
Rates are valid two (2) days prior and two (2) days after
the event, based on availability.
For those in need, the parking lot is handicapped accessible.
Wheelchairs are available.
Room Rates
$72.30 per night, including tax. Handicapped
rooms are available upon request.
Included in room rate is a "Quick Start Breakfast" of pastries,
cereal, fruit juices, coffee and tea.
Your room key will serve as admission to the Rafters Restaurant,
which is part of the complex.
A complete hot breakfast may be purchased for $3.99.
Individuals
must make their own reservation at the Lodge of the Ozarks, 1-800-213-2584,
toll free. Reservations at the above mentioned rate must be made no later than
MAY 6, 2001.
When making reservations, ask for USS Rich
block to receive the above rates. All
calls made after the cut-off date of MAY 6, 2001 will be handled on a
space and rate availability.
Transportation
The USS Rich itinerary from Gray
Line will give you the necessary information for round trip airport
transfers and car rentals.

The Gray Line is helping us plan a great visit for you so please read the
enclosed forms you received in your mailing with the last USS Rich
newsletter, check what you would like to do on the "Activities Order
Form", and return it along with your check to:

prices of tickets to various events include the shuttle services, so no extra
charge. If you don't have a form, you can
print this order form and fill it out.
After
registering for your room at the front desk, go to the Hospitality Room, 2nd
floor, Suite 255, sign our register so we know you arrived safe and sound, get
your name tags and look for a friendly face and ENJOY!!!
